On confirmation of you booking and deposit paid, our team will communicate with you to provide all the information you need and answer any questions you may have. When you arrive in Cooktown our team will be there to meet you and transfer you to your luxury accommodation for your stay.
Your fishing guide will meet with you on your arrival to understand what you’re wanting to do and which fish to target first. Whether it be Coral Trout, GT’s, Jurassic Park, Barramundi or Marlin, our team have what you need to make your fishing dreams a reality.
On the first morning we will leave from Cooktown River and take a short 30min trip to the reef and let the games begin, returning around 4.00pm. Each afternoon you will be returned to your luxury accommodation to relax and escape the afternoon winds. The guest services team will also plan your stay and make bookings at restaurants or organise massages for the group after a big day fishing.

Yes , although we have a maximum group size of 6 you can have any size group, however the daily rate of $8000 applies.
We do not stay on the reef overnight unless this is requested specifically, and the wind is light. The reason we don’t is due to prevailing winds that can blow for days, and most clients requesting accommodation on land with easy access to the reef. This is why we chose Cooktown due to its easy access to the reef.
Yes, you can target any species as the charter is developed by you to meet your specific requests.
You can fly on Pelican Air from Cairns to Cooktown daily or we can organise to have our helicopter pilot to meet you in Cairns and fly you to Cooktown, this is a 40min flight. Our team will meet you on arrival in Cooktown to transport you to your accommodation.
The first reef is 30mins from Cooktown and the outer reef is 45mins. You can be experiencing world class fishing within a short 30min trip from Cooktown.
Yes, if you desire to fish for Barramundi in the river systems, we can make that happen, remember the charter is developed to meet your needs.
Can we drink alcohol while fishing?
Yes you can consume alcohol during the charter, however we ask that all passengers observe basic safety requirements which includes no intoxication at sea.
We chose to offer luxury accommodation on land due to the overnight winds that can hamper a comfortable night and restrict the use of tenders during the day.
